Au Gratin Potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar or Swiss cheese
- 2 cans potatoes, sliced
Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
In saucepan, melt butter, then blend in the flour. Add milk gradually and cook, stirring constantly til thickened. Add garlic powder and 1/2 c. cheese.
Mix potatoes and sauce in a 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Garnish with sliced green onions. Makes 4 servings.
