Alfredo Sauce #1

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. grated Parmesann cheese

In medium saucepan, combine ingredients. Cook over medium to low heat until smooth. Remove from heat. Sauce will thicken upon standing.


Alfredo Sauce #2

  • 1/4 stick of butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • cooked pasta

In medium saucepan, melt butter. Once melted, stir in whipping cream. Cook over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cook for an additional 5 minutes; it should be rather thick by this point.

Add cooked pasta to the sauce and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
